These Honda CR-V RD tailgate gas struts are designed specifically for the RD-series (2002–2006). This is a single strut replacement — the RD tailgate uses one strut only. Simply swap the old strut and you’re done.
The measurement of the strut (fully extended, centre hole to centre hole) is approximately 550mm — correct for all RD-series CR-V models.

Replaced the boot strut on my 03 CRV, this strut *does* fit however the hole on the boot side is slightly too large for the pin it goes onto which gives a bit of slop otherwise it does well. Opens the door smoothly and allows it to shut slowly and smoothly.
