Struts are pretty damn strong, could use with a little less gusto as it feels like the bonnet is going to flip onto the roof and chop your finger off on the way down. Mounting brackets are spot on though.

They are good easy to fit, took 10 mins. The only trouble I had is the drivers side strut hit the bracket for my pre-filter, I had to lower the bracket a little and it did push on my driving light relay next to the batteries but fitted good, bonnet will slam shut if you let the bonnet go from around 3/4 open, not a great deal of pressure in strut to hold it from slamming.
